Pudwill Scholarship

A scholarship for those who are pursing ministry or missions after college.
ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP

Burnell and Delores Pudwill began their ministry in Haiti in 1974, dedicating 30 years to transformative service. Together, they built churches and schools, drilled hundreds of wells, and provided medical care to thousands. Their ministry left an enduring legacy, continuing even after health challenges brought them back to Flandreau, SD, in 2003.

In recognition of their extraordinary contributions, Burnell and Delores Pudwill were the first missionaries inducted into the GracePoint Missions Hall of Honor in November 2003. Delores passed away in 2005, and Burnell continued his ministry, regularly returning to Haiti and serving communities in South Dakota and Winnipeg, Canada, alongside his wife, Marie, and their family. Burnell went home to be with the Lord in May 2020.

The Pudwill Scholarship, first awarded in 2005, honors their legacy by supporting students pursuing missions and ministry-related careers. Scholarships typically range from $500 to $1,000.
