GracePoint Preschool Kinder Prep Lead Teacher Application

We are currently hiring for Kindergarten Prep Lead Teacher.

The K Prep Lead Teacher at Gracepoint Preschool is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, Christ-centered, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children ages 4–6. The Lead Teacher plans and implements curriculum, builds strong relationships with families, and mentors assistant teachers while modeling professionalism, compassion, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Classroom & Instruction

Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons for children ages 4–6
Create a warm, structured, and engaging classroom environment
Support children’s social, emotional, spiritual, physical, and academic development
Use positive guidance and classroom management strategies
Observe, assess, and document children’s progress

Qualifications

Experience working with children ages 4-6
- (ECE, CDA, and experience preferred)
Knowledge of child development and classroom management
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to work as part of a team, collaboratively
Background check required

This position is Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 12:00 PM
Age Group: Children ages 4-6

This position will start in August, Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:45am-12:00pm and two staff meetings a month.
